| 2010 ANSWER / MSR / PRO TAPER Racer Contingency Program Rules 1. To qualify, you must purchase matching gear (pant, jersey, gloves) from the 2010 Answer OR MSR gear line-ups – ONLY THE AXXIS AND SYNCRON GEAR SETS DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM - Gear may be purchased either at a walk-in dealer or via mail order. 2. (1) One set of gear purchased allows registration for (1) one class in (1) one series. (Example: (1) set of gear will not qualify you for (2) classes). 3. Send your registration form along with your purchase receipt to Tucker Rocky Distributing – Contingency Program – Attn: Kristen Rettberg 4900 Alliance Gateway Frwy, Fort Worth TX 76177. Or you may also fax it to 817-258-9015 – Attn: Kristen Rettberg 4. Each Series has a registration deadline and a minimum number of qualifying races that must be attended. Riders must remember that only races run AFTER the registration form is received will earn points! 5. No double points will be awarded for overlapping series. 6. Registration forms are sent out with series mailers, downloaded from club websites, at your local dealer or obtained at race signup. 7. Riders must compete (and be wearing the qualifying gear) in a minimum of 60% of the events in a series to qualify for contingency awards. To figure this number, take the total number of races and subtract 40%. If the total is .5 or over round up, if it’s under .4 round down. For example, an 8-race series requires the rider to participate in a minimum of 5 races. 8. Riders must be wearing only a qualifying gear set, in every Series event, in order to earn Tucker Rocky contingency money. 9. Answer or MSR sponsored riders may enter the program as long as they follow the rules of a non- sponsored rider. Qualifying gear MUST be purchased from a Tucker Rocky dealer and not directly from Answer or MSR. 10. Classes paid will be determined by promoter or sanctioning body for each participating series. 11. Registered riders will be sent a coupon pack worth $100 in discounts on Tucker Rocky Products. Coupons can be redeemed at any Tucker Rocky dealer, but NOT via mail order. 12. Riders will also be sent a one-time order form which allows purchase of up to $200 (after discount) in Answer, MSR or Pro Taper casual wear – priced at 40% off retail – directly from Tucker Rocky. 13. The Answer / MSR / Pro Taper Racer Contingency Program will pay contingency points to registered riders finishing in the top 10 of their class. Note: A minimum number of riders must enter a class in order for points to be awarded thru 10th place. We will pay points for up to 75% of each class. In other words, if 7 rider’ s sign up for a class, points will be given to 1st thru 5th place. If 25 riders sign up for a class, points will be given for all 10 places. Contingency points will be awarded as follows: 1st – 25 points 6th – 10 points 2nd – 22 points 7th – 7 points 3rd – 20 points 8th – 4 points 4th – 18 points 9th – 3 points 5th – 16 points 10th – 1 point 14. Points earned will be tallied at the end of the series and converted to “Race Bucks” at the rate of $1 per point. Contingency “Race Buck” certificates will be given or sent to the riders and must be redeemed in person at a Tucker Rocky Dealer. Certificates are good on any merchandise distributed by Tucker Rocky. 15. All contingency “Race Buck” certificates will expire and must be redeemed by the expiration date or they will be forfeited. 16. Need more information?
